They call it the Glyco Extreme Peel by Natura Bisse. And on a somewhat bleek and bleery day with not much to do other than look out the window (ok, so not true, but I can dream right?) I decided to do a little peeling myself.
Thanks to the amazing Totalbeauty.com invite to the CEW product review day (just tables and tables of skincare, fragrance and makeup that were submitted to their annual CEW beauty awards..) I got this little guy in my goodie bag.
So directions say to cleanse, tone skin and then apply. Wait 10-15 minutes.
Wow.
The instant, I mean the instant I put this on, I feel it tingling, twitching, slightly burning. Nothing bad mind you. But just that sensation you need to KNOW this thing is doing it’s stuff. Work away I say! Prickle, prickle, sting, prickle. Nothing I can’t handle and my sensitive skin is just knowing all sorts of good stuff is happening to it right now. And believe me, after just 10 minutes, I’m ready to take this off.
Homework: Apply twice a week for 6 weeks.
To be honest, I couldn’t find this exact product on their website… they have different anti-aging products, a very impressive amount actually, but this exact one? Hmm, not sure.
After the advised 10-15 minutes, I rinse and apply the newly received Anew Ultimate Repair Elixir from Avon. Pretty impressive huh? The golden flask (looks more like a flask than a bottle per say) looks stunning.
I check out the Avon site and read this:

Wow! Three days? Two weeks?
This applies very light and almost gel like, but looks like a moisturizer. The fragrance was a bit much for me (a bit too perfumey and a strong musk like scent… cough..) but I applied and it seamlessly went into my skin. My skin is a soft glow to it and it actually feels like a slight film on it… but very smooth and sleek. I almost wonder if makeup will just glide on over this.
Follow Up Report:
Next morning? Dark skin patches are definitely lighter, skin smoother, clearer, almost translucent… love.
