1. Do it Yourself Nails: Shall I?

Remember these sad nails before?

I know, such wimpy little nails aren’t they.
So a full day spent running around, being more crazy than I thought it’d be…
Aha moment? After about 5-10 minutes? Can’t tell I have them on and am typing, getting dressed, doing makeup like no one’s business, faster than normal because I’m late… and yep. These suckers are on. No problems.
They feel thicker and harder and stronger than my real nails.. and at first, it seems odd… but then, the thicker, harder and stronger part actually gets me to like them. My nails are like steel baby! Just bring it on! My nails can protect me through anything!!!
The after:

Best part? Did I mention? Dang these look good! Shiny, super quick nails that look really good. Glue, stick on, go.
Worse part? The glue underneath the nail that yep, even when dry, you still see. My little cell phone camera doesn’t really capture the tiny cloudy streaks that I see under the nail, but it’s me being super duper picky and anyone else at a glance can’t see them. But I do…what to do? I did apply glue all over the nail like they said, but it still looks as if I missed, or when pressing down on the nail, it just didn’t take all the way? If I want to get super picky, I’ll warn ya. Make sure you have a nail size picked that’s PERFECT to your nail. A little too wide, a little to off and it just looks weird to you. I have 1 nail on each hand that I wish I did over… the nail size I picked wasn’t quite right.. sigh..And make sure your cuticles are perfect, trimmed and clean and moisturized… because the perfectness of the fake nail makes the maybe not too perfect cuticle look so much worse.. gotta work on that next time..
don’t worry, I’ll be updating you as the days go by to see how long they really do last….
But man, with these things? I feel powerful. Wonder Woman may have had her super gold bracelets to ward off evil, but I’ve got my super nails!!! (cue in Super Woman music now……)

Aw, they look good… cute length too
I can definitely relate to the Wonderwoman Supernail power, hah! I just got my LCN’s off recently and I’ve been readjusting to life with “regular nails” again. I can’t even paint them because I hate how they look if they chip, even a little bit. So, just clear polish for me!
But my toes… that’s another story… bring on the hot pink!
