4. Daily Report: Do it yourself nails

Day 1: Keep staring at my hands to make SURE they’re not falling off . (my nails that is…) Realize that I can’t even feel them on anymore. No one notices them at party.
Day 2:
At the salon. Can do makeup and eyebrows no problem with my longer, thicker stronger nails. Co-worker comments that yes, the nails do look real.
Day 5:
Gasp! Horrors! Look down at living room carpet to see a nail! I panic and frantically look at all fingers. Nope, all still there. Realize that it must have fallen out from the box when I first applied. OH silly me.
Day 6:
Oh oh. Look at hands. See one nail missing. Find it on the floor. Grab my handy dandy little nail bag in my purse and just reglue and stick back on. Done. Geez, didn’t even realize it flew off.
Lesson Learned #1: don’t be too hasty to glue it back on. You do get about a good 10 seconds before the glue sets. My reglue went on a little too fast and ended gluing the nail a little lopsided… visible to only my eyes I’m sure. (yeah, right Elke..)
Day 7:
Nail #2 pops off. Again, just reglue and pop on. See the nail glue residue on my actual nail but don’t see any damage. Best part is when the nail pops off, it isn’t taking my own nail with it.
Day 8:
See no evidence of nails growing out too fast, and praying I can make these last longer than 10 days…am noticing a spot on 2 of my nails though…
Day 9:
Am curious as to what happens if/when I have to actually remove one…. but not yet. Am still in love fest with these…ok. Am seeing a spot on now 3 of my nails…. ?????
Day 10. So far no problems with nails staying on….. here’s hoping these nails last forever! But spots on 3 nails are now growing and seem to have a life of their own. Sadly, it looks like I will have to remove my nails at Day 10.

Have you tried the Talika nail regenerator serum? (www.talika.com) It makes your natural nails grow. I started using it when I took off my acrylics.
