After reading a rave review of the T-Pro Slik Stik on fellow beauty blog member “Cybele Says” Blog, well, i just had to try. So I rushed out and put down my little $19.99…(yes, you read right, $19.99 on amazon.com) and waiting with baited breath for it to come in the mail.
Because I can’t tell you how many times I’ve bought an iron only to be disappointed. And yes, I know you’ll get a great straightening iron if you spend $200 and more on one, but not everyone has that kind of beauty budget. So what’s a count the pennies kind of girl going to do? Well, pretty much buy the below $50 ones and pray one works. Like I have.
And this one works.
This tiny tiny little thing is small. But packs super well and it is easy to throw into your carry on or travel bag. I mean, the iron itself is no longer than the length of my hand. And the iron plates are small. Not even 1/2″ wide.

But will it work? Well, once you’ve figured out the little tiny switch on the inside of the tool is the turn on switch, this baby heats up in seconds flat. I mean fast. And it gets hot. It straightened my hair like no one’s business. Also, you get a great storage pouch that you can pop the iron in as you wait for it to cool down. The heat mitt that comes with it? So not needed unless you plan to burn your hands while using. The only type of hair that might want to stay away from this is super thick hair.. the iron is so tiny, it’ll literally take you hours to straighten it. But if you’re looking for a super small easy to smooth through the top layers quick tool, this is it.
Other than the super long cord that makes me think I may want to straightening my hair from across the room one day, this baby is a keeper.
And at this price? A perfect girl deal on a beauty budget steal.
