Nelson J Brazilian Hair Masque

I had the chance to receive and get during the Total Beauty Blogging Summit experience, a Brazilian Hair Masque as one of my special treats. And boy did I need it.

Brand new, the Nelson J Salon just released a new hair masque with Acai Oil to help repair dry damaged hair. Best part, is that you can treat yourself at home. Also great for color treated hair, what I noticed is that my hair felt incredibly smooth and soft afterwards, but not slick or greasy. Most hair masques have so much oil in it, that you almost can’t even wash it out. Or if you can, it takes about 2-3 shampoos to get it all out. Which makes me wonder if I also just ended up washing out the benefits as well.
For home use, just apply 1 quarter size dab on just washed hair, with all the excess moisture squeezed out of your hair. Then, if you can, blow dry, or cover saran wrap to intensify. Though it’s not needed, the best part is you only need to leave on for 5 minutes and can use after every shampoo if needed.
Now with summer coming (yeah!) and summer hair about to be exposed to summer heat, sun rays, chlorine and salt water, this is not only a treat, but necessary to keep summer locks looking amazing.

The Brazilian Hair Masque contains shea butter and safflower oil, along with Acqi Oil.
4oz - $18
16oz - $54

Sounds like a great hair masque indeed. I like the natural stuff more so than what is usually sold in shops containing lots of chemicals.
