The City of Hope has a dear place in my heart, because my good friend Cherie died there from cancer when I was in college. I will always remember how incredibly kind they were to both her and me and how they let me in her room to see her at midnight one night, as I dashed there after college finals to get there so late after visiting hours were over. I will always be thankful to them for letting me see her. It was the last time I saw her alive. She died the next morning.
I’ll be buying one.

I also feel strongly about City of Hope. I once had a job transcribing audio interviews with some of their doctors. It was amazing. They are absolutely on the cutting edge of research. They just need the funding to do it.
