Did you know that when most women feel that their hair is dull, limp or lifeless, they blame their shampoo or conditioner? Well, that’s not really the case. The culprit is most likely from your styling products or too much of it. Rumors tend to be that your shampoo has wax in it that leaves a waxy residue on your hair, but if you’re using high quality shampoos like Pantene, that’s just not the case.
FACTS From the Patene Hair Experts:
1) Pantene Shampoos and Conditioners do not contain wax. Although Pantene has unique and proprietary ingredients based on recent technological advances, the classes of ingredients (silicones, fatty alcohols, cationic polymers and cationic surfactants) are used consistently across the hair care industry.
2) Pantene Shampoo and Conditioners do leave behind conditioning ingredients (such as coacervate conditioning complexes, liquid crystals, and terminal amino silicones) for healthy hair benefits such as moisturization, damage protection and shine. Pantene shampoos and conditioners are designed to work together, depositing conditioning ingredients that will wash out of the hair with the next shampoo.
3) When women feel they have build-up from their shampoos and conditioners, it is often a sign that the products they are using are too heavy for their hair, and they may be more satisfied with a lower conditioning version.
So if you’re feeling like you need a change in your hair care routine, switch to a lighter shampoo and conditioner.

Great tips on hair care, Elke! I hear this constantly from my friends. “My shampoo sucks… my ___ is not working anymore” on and on. When I ask what they are using, they have like 10 different styling products in and by that point it's no wonder their hair is revolting!
I've tried many quality products on my hair and find that in addition to a good quality shampoo and conditioner, a flat iron gives my hair real shine. I don't know what I would do without it! It must be a very good one though. I've tried the less expensive flat irons and they don't give the best results. I use Chi.
Sorry for the extra comment, but I had forgotten to register an this was the only way I found to do it.
