New Hair Trend

Hello. Feel free to subscribe to my BLOG. Thanks for visiting!

Wonder what the hottest hair trend will be for 2009? Don’t wait any longer: It’s the simple, sexy, versatile long bob.
According to hot hair products line AG Hair Cosmetics, this is the most universally flattering.  A long bob, or ‘Lob’, like Gwyneth Paltrow’s is straight-cut and sophisticated. With no layers and a slightly jagged edge, this cut works for all face shapes and hair types.

“The best part of this look is the endless styling possibilities it offers,” says AG’s Artistic Director and Calgary, Alberta salon owner, Jami Symons. “By applying a straightening balm like AG’s set it straight and ironing flat with a heat protectant like AG’s insulate, the long bob is smooth and sleek for the office. But with a few twists of the curling iron and some firm hold working spray like AG’s thermal spray gel, the look becomes textured and glamorous for a night on the town.”

AG Set It Straight | AG Insulate

If you’ve decided to enter the New Year with a new look, AG stylists recommend that you bring your hairstylist photos of your favourite long bob before making the cut. Ask for a bob that is cut blunt and straight, just above the shoulders, and if you’re looking for more shape, have your stylist cut your hair on an a bit of an angle in the front. To dry the hair straight and smooth, use a paddle brush and flat iron, and to give the hair bouncy, red carpet curls, use a curling iron and brush curls out with your fingers for a tousled look.
I must by TOTALLY in style! Why? Because that’s exactly how MY hair is cut!
Thanks to the hair pros at AG Hair Cosmetics for the latest hair news!
