PRODUCT REVIEW: Revlon Colorstay Mineral Lipglaze
So I’m off looking for Revlon’s latest lip product, called Creme Gloss. Cant’ find it… but I do see, their ColorStay Lipglaze. Their Mineral Lipglaze that is.
“Revlon’s first longwearing lip gloss with a unique mineral complex that provides a glossy seal of conditioning color. Just one application of this cushiony formula keeps lips coated with comfortable color for up to 8 hours, with no need for touch-ups. Available in 12 gorgeous, glossy shades.”
I loved their light, almost nude lip color selection. Lasting Shimmer was the one I picked. It looks like a soft coppery bronze in the tube. The color does look lighter on, but what I loved about this was the look. It’s not a gloss, it’s not a lipstick. It goes on creamy with an incredible amount of shimmer and sheen. it gives the lips an almost 3-d quality. There’s no drying effect and once it goes on, this stuff stays on. For hours…. and hours. I was very happily surprised. With lip gloss rapidly fading in the distance as a trend (sorry everyone!) this lip cream gloss is a great alternative to update your look, but without going matte.
I’m definitely going back for the Neverending Nude shade.

The post really nice , i like it ,thanks for sharing, thanks for your post, i will keep read your blog everyday
I love your blog! I think the creme gloss is a great alternative for lipstick and gloss. MAC also has their version of the creme gloss which I think I might prefer. I am not a fan of the colorstay because if you get it on anything like a napkin or clothes then it never comes off. It really is colorstay…and I wonder what type of ingredients are in it besides minerals…
Nice product, I'm using lip gloss because lipstick makes my lip black. But that creme gloss looks better. I'm sure I will love that product.
05-26-09 Just started using this product. I like the colors and feel of the glaze but it doesn't stay worth a darn on my lips. I even put it on and waited 30 minutes before I drank water or had anything to eat and it still came off on everything.
