LIFT LUMIÈRE CONCEALER Smoothing and Rejuvenating Eye Contour Concealer
So I recently got the chance to play with the new Chanel Lift Lumiere Concealer on my quest for a new and improved concealer to add to my routine. Because with my crazy schedule, I feel now that I always look tired, so let’s see if I can fudge that a little. The new concealer from Chanel touts the super cool virtues of a “silky texture that glides on to mask imperfections and instantly rejuvenate the eye area. Immediately, the micro-texture of the eye contours appears noticeably smoothed; skin looks fresher, brighter, feels more supple.”
Sounds exactly like what I’m looking for, right?
First, right off the bat, let me just say, this stuff conceals. Great pigment and coverage.. I was thrilled. A little truly goes a long way, and the great pump action on the concealer (it’s like a little foundation bottle, but it’s concealer…) is perfect at dispensing just the right amount.
The trick is getting the right amount on. Too much and I could see my little under eye lines just creeping up. Too little and it doesn’t quite cover….here’s a case where concealer brush lets you put on the right amount. You need to get this on just right. It also lasted longer than I thought it would.. for hours.. Also, the light color I tried was a touch yellow in it’s color, but easily blendable… which also led me to try a pro trick, by adding a touch of it also into my foundation, to get a tad more coverage in that as well… and it worked.
Am I using this every day? No, not really, because while you do get a super generous amount of concealer (no little wimpy wand here…), at high price, I find myself using for sexy night outs or that super important business meeting….
