Hello. Feel free to subscribe to my
BLOG. Thanks for visiting!
Sometimes I think I know everything about makeup. And then there are the times when I come across a cool makeup trick that I go, “why didn’t I figure that out sooner?”

Case in point. Mascara smudges. You know the ones. The excess mascara that gets on your skin as you’re applying those thick, long, thick lash inducing mascaras. Long lashes, mascara glitch. Not so good.
Even worse is the, ‘how do I get this off without ruining everything underneath?” strategy?

I used to do the Q-tip rub off, either with a clean Q-tip or a moisturizer/makeup remover/oil dabbed one. Works, but then you’re left with a empty hole in your eyeliner, eyeshadow, or foundation around your eyes that takes time and know how to fix.
Here’s my super quick fix it.

Take a long bristled eye shadow brush. Wait for mascara to completely dry. Then sweep the mascara off. Yep. Sweep. All your mascara dots will come right off without ruining anything underneath. Genius I tell ya! Now if you have a big mascara smear, well, sorry. It doesn’t quite work, but if you’re in a hurry, grab that clean eye shadow brush and sweep your mascara mistakes away. Works every time.
God I love a makeup trick that works!
