There are two types of makeup in my life. My oh so creative, colorful, professional, high caliber, high quality makeup that’s in my professional makeup kit. And then there’s the stuff that I use on, well, me. Surprisingly, more often than not, the brands, colors and products are completely different.
The makeup kit has stuff that lets me create stuff like this:

Not necessarily your everyday makeup I’m sure. Pigment’s gotta be there, quality strong, and with constant touch ups, you just touch up, touch up, touch up all during the shoot to keep it looking fantastic.
Now me? Heck, I’ll put it on, pray it stays on for a few hours and hope touch ups are quick and painless. Much different story. So I’m sure like everyone else, you go through stages where you find that wonder product and current holy grail item of the moment and it just sits in your makeup bag, for like forever.
Here’s in what’s my fav Bobbi Brown Cosmetic Bag (see my review here) right now. That is until I get bored of it or find the next holy grail item. Let’s take a peek shall we?
1. Youngblood Concealer

Coverage is amazing, makes little fine lines under eyes virtually disappear, and makes skin look smooth and flawless. I would love this to last on a little longer, and have a more quantity in it’s little pan container, but until I find anything else that makes my 14 hour days look like it’s really 8, well, this is a keeper.
2. Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Loose Foundation

In a slightly darker color than my skin, I”ve been using this to make my skin look a little warmer, yet natural. As in I can’t wait for summer to get here. Coverage is just okay, but I do like the build-able factor.. just buff on more as I need it and the handy brush up portable container makes this super easy. Again, wish it would last longer than the 3 hour wear I get out of it, but for now, I’ll take it.
3. Laura Geller Baked Blush in Golden Apricot
Golden Apricot

Looking for the perfect warm, gold flecked, flushed blush look? This is. Just love love love. Need I say more? And it lasts a few hours longer than you think it would. And the super duper large size is a happy bonus.
4. Clinique High Impact Lipstick in Pure Posh

A shimmering soft bronze, this warms up lips just right.
5. MAC Lipglass in Young Spark (color not shown)

A pinky shiny gloss that makes lips look just better. Plus the super shine gives a sexy twist to a natural day time look.
6. Maybelline Lash Stiletto

I keep trying others, but always go back to this. Was using Mac’s Pro Lash for a while, but the gummy factor kept me looking, though the look factor got a hugh A+. This one? I still squeal with joy at the major lash appeal I get after I’ve applied this. It’s like Christmas every day now.
7. Mineral Eye Shadows
… that for now will remain a secret, because a super review is coming soon. But let’s just say this mineral eye shadow is one of the coolest new intros in the makeup industry I’ve seen in a really long time…
8. MAC Technakohl Eye Liner in GraphBlack
A gel based pencil liner that goes on super dark, smudges great and lasts forever. I often switch between this and MAC’s PenUltimate Liquid LIner for a harder, stronger eye line, and sometimes even apply a liquid line of this over the gel pencil for a sharper edge.
9. Tarte’s brush with greatness
double-ended eyeshadow brush

Cannot, will not live without this brush. Got with a eye shadow palette duo and it’s my all time favorite shadow brush. If I lost this, I would cry. Really. One side is a flat fluffy brush for applying on lids, while the rounded fluffy pointed side creates a great crease shadow, and even smudges eye pencil if needed. If you see me crying somewhere, well, you’ll know that I lost my Tarte shadow brush.

My Aromaleigh Gel eyeliner in Black Out is what I always use on my upper lash line, because it's a great black. I use Urban Decay's 24/7 liner in Zero on my lower water line. I used to use the MAC Graph Black you're talking about but I get better results with Zero on me. I've gone through a lot of different types of Mascara lately, including MAC's Pro Lash, but my current favorite is Benefit's BadGal Mascara. Fyrinnae's Lip Lustres have replaced my MAC lipglasses as my go to lip products, specifically in Lollipop-Pop and Glitter Kittiez. I just love love love mineral eye shadows and my current favorites are Fyrinnae, Aromaleigh, Glamour Doll Eyes, and Purely Cosmetics. I'm constantly wearing Aromaleigh's Candy or Candy-O blush, as well as TheBalm's Stainiac in Beauty Queen. I bounce between Meow's Pampered puss foundation in Inquisitive Sphynx and Purely Cosmetics Skin Smoothing foundation in Fair Maiden and Fyrinnae's Mica Free foundation in Moonstone. Urban Decay's 24/7 concealer in CIA is what I use under my eyes when I need it. And these are my current favorites
