Forever on a search for a good concealer, that covers, doesn’t settle into lines, easy to apply and lasts for hours, (is that sooo wrong???)well, you can say I’m always looking for an amazing concealer. Enter CoverFx.Amazing coverage they say. So I try.
And not only does it cover? It offers “A lightweight, 3-in-1 concealer that self adjusts to your skin’s tone and layers for optimum coverage.” Really? Wow, sounds amazing. Here’s more:
- a 3-in-1 multi-functional concealer
- for the face and eyes
- contains a built-in primer
- repairs and conditions delicate skin.
- lightweight
- provides opaque, long-lasting, water-resistant, and stay-put coverage.
So I get the color in Light.Yes, it reads light on the box, and on the tube. But really? It’s a strong medium to dark. As in this isn’t light at all. So really something this dark will color adjust? Apply and no, it really doesn’t color adjust.Maybe by 1 shade. But that’s it. And it’s still dark on my light skin.Think of a orange tan color. On light skin. Not good. Good point is that it covers great.Creases a bit.But if you’re light skinned like me? You’ll have to keep looking, because CoverFx seems to think light is a medium-dark. And how this is going to work is beyond me.
Sorry, but I’ll keep looking.
UPDATE: The Sephora website now shows a xLight color from Conceal FX, but to be honest, I’m not that interested in trying it.. because their X-Light might be my version of Medium. I’m just saying…
