Okay, I wasn’t expecting it or even looking for it. Because we all know that Smashbox’s Face primer is amazing. But I think I found something even better. Don’t get me wrong. I’m loving my Smashbox, but I noticed that after a while of using, my skin starts to get oily.. and believe me, my skin is NOT oily. Think more normal with a tendency to be a touch sensitive or dry on it’s off days. But nothing to write home about. So when I saw the Tarte Clean Slate primer in their Sephora Exclusive Beauty Complexion Collection that was sent my way via PR, well, let’s just say my skin is one happy and content camper.
This primer definitely does what it says it will. Keeps my foundation on all day, no oily build up, no shine, and no feel at all. Plus washes clean and I have yet to get any little tiny whiteheads that most silicone primers can do to me, especially around my nose and chin. Not pretty.
Skin feels silky smooth after applying and foundation brushes on like a breeze. And love the super smooth look I get and the long long results… so happy I found this.
