I love lip gloss and the look it gives, and I’m sorry, matte may be all the rage, but I’m not about to store my lip glosses away anytime soon, that’s for sure. Enter, a new one that I’m loving… because it’s a gloss, a lipstick and an easy application all in one. Who knew?
The Infallible Plumping Lipgloss from Loreal calls itself plumping, though I don’t know why, because it really doesn’t do any of the sort. But what it does do, is give a beautiful finish (it’s not super shiny, not glossy, not frosted, just different… and pretty!)
What’s the best thing about this is the diamond sponge like applicator. Need to get a smooth, even line? This actually does the job really well. Easy to apply, feels good on the lips and applies evenly and smoothly. The colors are nice (get ready for a lot in the pinky, burgundy family, though there are a few nudes in the bunch), but the best part is that this stuff stays on really good. I tried their beautiful red shade and it lasted hours longer than I thought it would.. it faded a bit in the middle of the lip after a few cups of coffee, but I was actually shocked. I really thought as a gloss it would be gone, so I was happily surprised. And their pinky nudes are very wearable with a gorgeous soft shimmer sheen that’s more a sheen than a frost.. and looks pretty on.
Happily, colors that look good, apply great, and lasts? This is one gloss that I’ll be adding more colors to my color selection soon. It’s definitely a keeper.
