If you’re looking for a new lipstick that’s all natural and organic, check out Lipfacts Lipsticks by Lori Hoffmann. I got the chance to try them after being sent what looked like their whole color collection, and I’ll be honest, it took me a while to like them. What I didn’t like was their colors which to me looked more like colors my mom would wear. A lot of burgundy’s and plums here. Just not my thing. But there was this nude brownie color in Almond Cream that stood out and I decided to try it out. A soft nude brown with a touch of orange (don’t worry, doesn’t look nearly as orange on as it does in the color chart below), that’s easy to blend and work with your look.

So while this lipstick is all natural and all, it does have it’s pluses and minuses. Minus was how dry these lipsticks were. These are definitely not creamy and it took a bit to get them to glide on. But what’s a bad thing can turn into a good. Because these lipsticks are not greasy and emollient, this lipstick lasts forever on. But another minus is that if you have dry lips, especially this winter, you’ll either want to skip this brand, or make sure to apply a lip balm underneath to keep lips hydrated. I remedy this by applying my fav lip gloss on top which keeps the dryness away. So while I wasn’t too impressed at first, I’ve come to like it and am now wearing it almost every day and customizing the color with a different lip gloss over. I can also see this lipstick lasting and staying on on a really hot humid day.
So if you’re looking for an all natural lipstick to add to your makeup arsenal, try these, with the note that you may need to customize your application of it a bit to suit your needs.
