I got the latest from Hourglass cosmetics, and it’s a beauty. They call it Prodigy, but I’ll call it a super chic, sleek new look to a lip gloss. The super thin, streamlined package is just gorgeous looking with its burnished metal on one side and the preview of the color on the other. Think like a small cigarette case, but beautified. Fits into a pocket or a small evening bag perfectly. (Though who carries makeup in pockets anymore?)
So, gushing over the look aside, how about the actual product? Think sheer, (yes, sheer, but you still get a good color wash) and I got to play with the light Surreal shimmering peachy shade, that’s super shiny and shimmery, yet still sheer. Beautiful on and works great also over a lip color. What I loved was the feel of it. Super sleek, almost like Khiel’s lip balm. Non sticky, feels great on. Only sad point is that it doesn’t stay on as long as I’d like and within an hour I would have to reapply, and that’s without eating or drinking involved. But still, showing off this gorgeous lip gloss out doesn’t’ bother me in the least.
