We’ve been seeing a trend lately in the ‘in shower’ moisturizers that are coming on the market fast and furious. And the idea sounds great right? Apply while in the shower and just skip a step. Because really, where would you rather apply your moisturizer? In the warmth of your shower, or in the bathroom, while still damp and wet and yes, sometimes a little cold? We’ll take the warmth of the shower any day.
We tried one where it actually felt sticky and left a film on the skin. Another was just ok, but we couldn’t tell any before or after differences. Another had a irritating cap on the bottle that just kept falling into the tub and on a bad day, in the drain which made retrieving while damp a risky move. After a few not so great moisturizing attempts, we finally found one that is doable and gave great results.
The final winner that got to us in the end?
Our Favorite: Satin Care® In-Shower Moisturizer.
With the ability to lock in moisture for up to 24 hours, Satin Care claims that after only 5 days, you’ll get super hydrated and conditioned skin. Meant to seal in moisture after shaving, you can also use this anytime you want to moisturize your body. In Sensitive Skin and Dry Skin formulations, we liked the scent of the Dry Skin better. We’ll contribute it to the Shea Butter ingredients.
Features & Benefits: The Sensitive Skin formula, with aloe vera, is specially designed for sensitive skin. The Dry Skin formula, with shea butter helps lock in moisture after shaving, leaving the skin soft and incredibly smooth.
Bonus Factor: The flip open cap that stays put.
We’re loving the results so much, we plan to keep this up. With summer right around the corner, it certainly doesn’t hurt to get your skin in super hydrated condition.
