ASHTON MICHAEL BLACK LABEL SS11 COLLECTION
Musically inspired by Morrissey, Ashton Michael Black Label presented an androgynist collection—a story of torn lovers. Using bondage symbolism, distressed knits, military influences and fabric manipulation with weaving, Ashton turned the GreenShows black. Ashton Michael used a fabric made of recycled plastic bottles by RETH¿NK which has been word by one of his celebrity client will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas. www.ashtonmichael.com

It was a breath of life for reduce, reuse, and recycle at the Luis Venezuela 2011 SS show. Assortments of household items such as lampshades, chandeliers, and birch bark were transformed into a contribution to Valenzuela’s modern illusion. www.luisvalenzuelausa.com
