5 Easy Holiday Hair Styles

Top celebrity hairstylist, Riccardo Maggiore from the Riccardo Maggiore Salon (www.RiccardoMaggiore.com) shared just the thing we need right now.  How to get party ready fast.  To the rescue? 5 easy hairstyles that take 5 minutes or less to achieve.

The 5 minute “Naturally, Messy” Wave:

whipped crème

  • Dispense a small amount of a lightweight styling product such as Sebastian’s Whipped Crème into damp hair
  • Part hair down the center of your scalp and blow dry straight with a paddle brush
  • Using a medium barrel curling iron curl a few small sections of the ends of the hair.  Leaving some pieces straight will give a “not so perfect” look that will look natural and sexy
  • Rub small amount of shine serum like Riccardo Maggiore Luminoso Anti-Frizz Drops, on hands and gently run fingers through hair to separate curls.

The 4 minute “Ballerina” Bun:

· Apply a small amount of Sebastian’s Whipped Crème into damp hair from root to ends.

· Blow dry straight with a paddle brush for a minute.

· With your fingers, pull your hair back loosely and secure with a small elastic band wherever you would like the bun to be

· Twist your hair once tightly around the elastic band, and place one or two bobby pins underneath the twist. Twist the remaining hair around a little more loosely as many times as it takes until you run out of hair and place another one or two bobby pins.

· Finish with Sebastian’s ShaperFierce Hairspray, which will keep your bun secured for the rest of the day

The 3 minute “Un-Done” Bob:

  • Apply a light weight volumizing product such as Sebastian’s Thickefy Foam to damp hair, concentrating specifically on the roots
  • Use a medium round brush to dry and straighten the hair while adding volume
  • Finish with Sebastian’s Matte Putty, a product that is designed to create a tousled “messy” look while maintaining hold and shape

The 2 minute “Party” Ponytail:

  • Put your fingers at the crown of your head and gather up a large section of hair to tease it to give it volume
  • Run your hairbrush over this section lightly and let out your side bangs or pieces of hair from each side for that not so perfect look
  • Pull the rest of the hair into a ponytail just above the middle point at the back of your head and secure with a hair-covered elastic or wrap a strand of your hair around the elastic itself
  • Finish off with Sebastian’s Shaper Zero Gravity Hairspray for a lightweight hold

The 1 minute “New” Headband:

· Add Sebastian’s Thickefyfoam or another weightless thickener to hair and then tease your hair for a few seconds

· Effortlessly with your fingers, pull your hair back loosely and secure with a small elastic band or small clip

· BEST PART: Put your New headband on

· Finish off with a bit of Riccardo Maggiore’s Forza Hair Spray
