Just got back from The Makeup Show (which we like to all THE Makeup Show) in NYC and got the scoop on some up and coming (and not yet released) goodies to share with you.
Over at Face Atelier, (creator of the must have foundation every pro artist simply must have in their kit), comes the so new, it’s not even on their website yet, new product highlight.
Introducting their new Facade, a silicone based liquid to powder formula that can be used on cheeks (and even lips if you add gloss over) that gives a buildable, non streak natural glow. We tried and oohed and awwed over the colors (all wearable) and gave the magic appeal of conforming to the skintones underneath to create a truly personalized color. Totally usable for HD application, it’s blendable, seamless, and has a longer dry time so the pro in you can play more. Plus moisture, heat and sebum resistant, with a super easy slant tip for application (think Lancome juicy tubes package..) Comes in 5 colors an retails at $28.
Another must have for pros and consumers alike is their new Ultra Matte, 1st ever silicoe based spray mattifyer. Can be applied both under/ between applications/over your makeup for a super matte, non ashy, powdery finish that will keep you shine free for hours. No dulling guaranteed. This gem also cotains optical blurring pigments *(don’t you love the soud of that?) that create microscopic reflection to minimize lines and wrinkles for a super soft skin appearance. PRO TIP: Spray a touch on your foundation brush to spot mattify or mattify your foundation application before application. Over at OCC (as the pros call it) or Obssessive Compulsive Cosmetics; you could view their newest goodie, their OCC Tint. In 12 great warm shades (you can forget about the boring generic light/medium/dark here); this tinted moisturizer is more than a tint. It’s an amazing coverage for a tint, ultra moisturizing base that gives a light weight flawless coverage and is 100% vegan with moisture benefits from Acai Extract and Coconut Hydrosol. If you love palettes, Yaby has some great palettes that come with great usable colors. Their pre-set shadow palette comes with pearl paint shadows and eyeshadows in a resuable metal pan.
