Next week, L’OCCITANE en
Provence will open its first boutique in the Meatpacking District on 14th Street
and Ninth Avenue.
The boutique (located at
48 Ninth Ave) will also be hosting a consumer event at 6:30pm on July 28th
where its Managing Director of L’OCCITANE USA, Leela Petrakis, will be
officiating a ribbon cutting ceremony followed by a small reception.
The first 100 consumers to make a purchase will receive an exclusive
Meatpacking set featuring the iconic products that put L’OCCITANE on
the map. The boutique is also the first to feature a L’OCCITANE’s
men’s unit, creating a space specifically designed to put men at ease
while shopping.
“We’re
so thrilled to be bringing L’OCCITANE to a neighborhood as dynamic and
energetic as the Meatpacking District. In keeping with the feel of the
neighborhood, we’re unveiling a totally new design concept that marries
the gritty origins of the surroundings with the Provençal heritage of
the brand. The store is a major element of our focus on
New York City this year, bringing
Provençal beauty to one of the chicest cities in the world,” remarks
Leela Petrakis, Managing Director of L’OCCITANE USA.
