SOS Novelties’ unique, eco-friendly, soy candles are crafted using a recipe that contains Aloe Vera oil (repairs damaged tissue, and shields skin from dangerous toxins); Apricot oil (nourishes and revitalizes skin); Coconut oil (moisturizes skin by forming a barrier to keep skin hydrated); Jojoba oil (provides emollient, velvety and non-greasy moisture); Shea Butter (moisturizes and soothes skin) and Vitamin E (protects against damaging free radicals).
Each candle can be used in three different ways:
- Fill your home with one of the three signature scents simply by lighting one. Soy candles burn slower and cooler, and are soot-free. Soy is also bio-degradeable, non-toxic, a renewable source and eco-friendly. Each candle is free from sulfates, petrochemicals or animal byproducts. The wick is 100 percent cotton, and the soy wax is both paraffin- and lead-free.
- While cold, the soy wax can be used as an emollient lotion to pamper dry skin. The cooled wax is pliable and essentially melts when applied to the body. The very low melting point of the wax makes it easy to use as a cold cream or solid perfume. Simply apply with fingertips to key pressure points or where skin thirsts for moisture.
- A half-minute after blowing out the candle, the wax oil can then be used as a silky massage oil that teases the senses. The feel of the wax oil is similar to baby oil, which makes it glide on smoothly. Once absorbed – usually within 5-10 minutes – it leaves skin silky smooth. The scent will linger on the skin for several hours, and can be washed off with regular soap and water. Body-safe and paraben-free.
