Bath Bar To Open In Hermosa Beach

Celebrity Makeup Artist Kristina Vogel Announces Opening of Flagship Bath Bar Retail Store in June 2012 in Sunny Hermosa Beach, California in June, 2012.

Her store will feature a custom Fragrance Bar, Natural and Organic Bath & Body Products.

Bath Bar LogoBath Bar will be LA’s newest retail destination offering an alternative to the standard bath, body and perfume experience found in malls and department stores.

“Nothing makes a woman feel more special than a unique fragrance that expresses her personality and individuality, and having an accessible outlet where you can quickly blend a custom fragrance at an affordable price is truly hard to find,” explains Kristina Vogel, Founder of Los Angeles-based Bath Bar who has been working as a Celebrity Makeup Artist for film and TV for two decades. “That’s why opening this retail venue will be a novel option for Angelenos to customize their bath and body products. While sitting on outdoor patio chairs, women can soak up the sun, enjoy the beautiful ocean views and swaying palm trees, as Bath Bar staff concocts their personalized fragrance and mixes it into a luxurious body lotion, body wash, bath salts, or even into a roll-on perfume. Plus they can even bring their kids and husbands along, as there are grooming products for men, and bath products for kids.”

Vogel chose to situate the store on the recently renovated Pier Avenue because of its spectacular ocean-view location, proximity to many great stores, restaurants, and shopping, and because Hermosa Beach is a community that attracts lots of athletes, beach-goers, and outdoor enthusiasts.  In addition to selling perfumes, lotions, washes, bubbles, salts, mists/sprays and scrubs, the store will offer candles, jewelry and bath accessories.

“For a Custom Fragrance Bar, my fragrances are affordable for most people in comparison to other custom fragrance options,” says Vogel. “Plus, my fragrances are sexy and subtle and exactly what you want them to be, not overwhelming or too perfume-y. When a woman wears a customized fragrance, it’s obvious to others that she is a unique individual, making her feel special, meaningful and beautiful.  Customers who choose not to create a custom fragrance can also select among four signature scents–Lazy Daze, Magic Blossom, Zen Milk and Pom Star–which are loved by celebrities Rachel Bilson, Katie Cassidy, Kyra Sedgwick, Alyssa Milano, Shenae Grimes, Dana Delaney and Carly Chaikin. Testimonials from these celebrities and others can be read online at

“Enjoying the Bath Bar store products are a great way to let go of daily stress, dream a little, and enjoy the simple pleasures in life,” adds Vogel. For customers who cannot travel to LA and shop there in person, Vogel offers the entire line of Bath Bar products and custom fragrance bar options online at

Opening June 1, 2012, the new Bath Bar retail store will be located at 205 Pier Ave. (corner of Pier and Manhattan Avenues) in Hermosa Beach, California, located 5 miles south of Los Angeles International Airport and 18 miles southwest of downtown Los Angeles.  For more information about Bath Bar products, the retail store, or Kristina Vogel, visit the website at, call 310-379-4297 or e-mail

Join Molly Rancal Tonight At Her PJ Beauty Party

Mally Roncal has been a makeup artist to celebrities from Beyoncé to Jennifer Lopez and from Mariah Carey to Celine Dion. And now, Mally shares her easy and quick steps for getting a radiant, well-rested look with us below, as well as online beauty PJ party. Check out the dets below!

Step 1: First, start with a good moisturizer to smooth over any dry or flaky spots.

Step 2: Next, apply my Perfect Prep Poreless Primer to fill in your pores and fine lines, creating an invisible barrier between your skin and your makeup.

Step 3: Apply a creamy concealer underneath your eyes, and then dab on any blemishes. Even out your complexion with my Ultimate Performance Foundation and a powder brush to get that diffused, airbrushed look.

Step 4: Using a highlighter, apply to the brow bone, cheek bones, temples and down the center of your nose; swirl a universally flattering pinky-peach blush onto the apples of the cheeks.

Step 5: Use my Volumizing Mascara and with the wand, apply inwards for a starburst effect that instantly opens up eyes.

Step 6: Finish by using my Lightwand Eye Brightener. Take the pencil end and draw a sideways “v” in the inner corner of your eyes. If you want to take it to the next level, take the spring-loaded powder dabber on the other end, and apply it on top of the pencil!
