Water-Soluble All Natural Honey Wax
All natural Honey wax has a low melting temperature to avoid burning, and high temperatures. Wax stays soft for a more comfortable wax. Removes with water. Great for fine to medium hair and all types of skin. Breakouts and redness are virtually non existent
The Non Eyebrow

Have you heard? The latest buzz around the beauty biz is that the ‘non’ eyebrow is all the rage. As in no eyebrows at all (shaved), or pale eyebrows (bleached or lightened with makeup). First thick thick brows were in and then, wouldn’t you know it? The exact opposite is “it”.
Well, don’t reach for your razor just yet. Because the ‘buzz’ is doing exactly what it’s supposed to. Getting people to talk. You see, whenever there is a big buzz on a trend, it’s usually because it’s very severe. Super short hair, black nails, gone eyebrows. The most extreme trends tend to get the most buzz because they’re gossip and talk worthy. But does it mean you should do it? Absolutely not. Because extreme beauty also means that the ‘trend’ in question disappears the quickest too.
So if the trend that’s being shouted out is severe? Word to the wise, don’t bite. Because in about 2/3 months that trend will be gone and on to the next severe thing. Shaving and bleaching off eyebrows? Yep, that’s severe.
So don’t think trend, think classic. As in what works for you, and only you. Now that’s the trend that you need to hop on. Because then you’ll always be in style.
We’re a must have pro product!
We’re mentioned as a must have PRO product to have as mentioned on The Professional Opinon:

THE MODEL BROW BY ELKE VON FREUDENBERG:
Brow Ware – this product provides hold to thinner eyebrows without the crunchy, flaking off residue. Use after eye brow grooming and filling in with brow pencil or shadow. Great for both women and men! Good bang for your buck! $16 Retail
Hi-Light Shadow – Hi-Lites make your eyebrows look sharper, more defined and brings attention to your eyebrows. Plus, these Hi-Lites work great to mask growing in brows (or stragglers) until that next grooming appointment and can bring an instant lift effect to the eye area! $20 Retail
Big Time Nite Brow Shadow – I like the way Elke thinks! She says, “who says eyebrows can’t look amazing at night?” And she is a smart cookie for inventing gorgeous shadows that play up your brows and add just the right amout of shimmer/sparkle without being over the top. Can be used wet for a very dramatic look! $20 Retail

It’s vacation time!
Can you believe that I have not had a vacation in about 10 years? I’ll blame in on my being a workaholic but it’s finally gotten to the point where I just gosh darn need one. So I’m off to Los Angeles today for a week and then off to Las Vegas for the CosmoProf Beauty Trade show that I”ve been trying to get to but haven’t been able to for the past 4 years. And on top of that (yeah, I know it’s a ‘working’ vacation but still!) I’ll add a few more days to Las Vegas for a little R&R that’s so badly needed. I just cannot wait!

But don’t worry, I’ll be back the end of July hopefully all refreshed, and sunburn free, and ready to go again for say, maybe the next ten years? Just kidding!
So keep those eyebrows on hold for me… I’ll be back soon!

New products on the way!
The past month has been a blur of business, new products, and moving! Yep, the brow line has officially moved from Los Angeles to New York, including a move of our shipping and warehouse distribution from So. Calif to Chicago for closer access. Though it took a week to move all the inventory, it took a few weeks to organize to get it ready to go. But our behind the scenes crew made it super easy and painless.
Now that we’re officially situated in Chicago, back orders can now be shipped out, so if you were waiting on items that were either out of stock or needed a exchange, they are now on the way to you! Plus a little something extra as a apology and a thank you for your patience for waiting while we made this move.
Also, amongst all this, it was putting the final touches on new products that are soon to be coming your way! Here’s a sneek peek!
Let’s say you can expect:

Brow Tip: Keep the arch aligned.
I remember when the ‘tadpole’ eyebrow was considered the do not do eyebrow to have. Remember this?

Tadpole eyebrows are when it’s thick in the front of the brow, then it immediately goes to thin, all the way up to the end of the brow. Here, the balance is off, and makes the person look like they’re knitting their brows together when they’re not. Also, for the balance of the brow, your eye has a hard time getting past the front of the brow, so you end up focusing just there instead of the line and arch leading to the eyes. Like I always say, great eyebrows are supposed to make people look at your eyes, not your eyebrows.
Well, it’s changed. The do no do eyebrow shape of this century? It’s the too far out arch.
The biggest brow mistake I’ve been seeing lately is the wrong placement of the arch. And the arch is THE most important part of the brow because it’s the part that leads the eye to your eye when someone looks at you.

Right

Wrong
If the arch is too far out, it can actually make the eyes look too close together, and even cross eyed. Especially in photos.
See?

Look closely. The arch being so far out actually makes the eyes look closer together, and not wide set and you find yourself looking at either the model’s nose, or forehead, not her eyes.
The key focus in eyebrows, is to make people look at your eyes…… How to fix? This part is tricky. II’s best to have a specialist do this for you if you’re not sure as tweezing too much can create holes and a lopsided brow.
