Can I tweeze above the brows?

I think this is the most common question I get from clients asking if it’s ok to wax or tweeze above the eyebrow shape. I always say it depends on who’s doing it.
For the client: Yes, it’s ok to remove hair above the brow, IF the hair has nothing to do with the brow. I alway say if the hair is not touching the brow in anyway, there’s really no way you can ruin your brow shape. So if the hair is on the temple, forehead or above the brow, it’s ok to wax because not only will it give you a cleaner appearance, but it makes the line of the brow sharper and stronger.
Leave it to the expert: Now if your brows are uneven, one higher than the other, or two different shapes, then leave it to the professional to even and balance your eyebrows. And I would say this is the most common ‘fix’ that I do on brows. Aligning so that both are on the same level, and adjusting the brow to make the line of the brow sharper. I can make the brow shape straighter, softer, or thinner based on what the brow shape is giving me. But leave this to the expert, and then clean up the line as they come in. But if there’s any major work that needs to be done? It’s best to leave it to the brow expert.
