With over twenty years in the beauty industry, eyebrow specialist Elke Von Freudenberg has firmly established her reputation as the Queen of Brows.
A life-long lover of all things beauty, Elke’s lustrious career began in 1982; with an esthetician’s license and high school diploma received in the same month, she made her way through college working as a facialist and eventually as a waxing specialist. As her career evolved, Elke began working as a photography makeup artist, as well as a top Education Specialist for Aveda for 8 years. Today, Elke is helming an impressive career as a renowned expert and eyebrow specialist working in New York City.
Elke frequently travels across the US and internationally to lend her eyebrow sculpting services on photo and movie sets, and tending to private and celebrity clientele. Faces may change, but her mission remains the same: “to bring beauty into the obvious.”
Elke is renowned for The Model Brow® service, a skill honed through years of brow shaping experience. Elke specializes in fixing and reshaping brows by customizing and enhancing the shape of her client’s brows without the use of stencils.
Taking her eyebrow expertise one step further, Elke is also the creator of The Brow Collection, a makeup line of fashionable and unique brow products available online at www.thebrowcollection.com. Well-respected for her knowledge and passion for the beauty industry, Elke is frequently quoted in industry and consumer beauty publications, and is often invited to lecture aspiring students of makeup, film and photography. She also regularly donates her services at charity-sponsored fashion shows and events.
