How To Book Tips: How Long to Wait?
How Long To Wait
I’m always amazed at how long most clients wait before coming in to see me for a brow shaping. Especially if it’s for the first time. And I don’t mean days.. I mean months. Longest I’ve heard? Six months.
Depending on how fast your brows grow, I would say anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks is a good time frame. Yes, I can do more when there’s more hair, but keep in mind, that the longer the wait, the more hair that needs to be tweezed in places where it’s not even needed (i.e. between the brows, above, or far below the brow line).. so it only means that you’re walking around with iffy brows that much longer.
So don’t feel you need to grow in your eyebrows for 2-3 months before you make that appointment. 2-3 weeks is usually enough to reshape or fix a brow. If you’re looking to to grow very thin eyebrows thicker, then give it a month.

Brow Tip: It’s only the hairs that are closest to the brow line that are going to actually change to resize the brow. Everything else will most likely get tweezed/waxed away.

Eyebrow No-No #1.
In doing eyebrows, I see these 5 common eyebrow no-no’s almost every day.
What are they? Just read on to see what they are and my fixes for
them;. if you’re not sure or comfortable in fixing your own eyebrows, I
highly recommend getting an expert to shape them for you first.
1. The round eyebrow.
Or I call this, “the happy eyebrow”. It borders on an almost 1/2 circle shape. This happens when the tweezer keeps trying to create more of an arch, but is not sure where it is. So they keep tweezing from underneath the eyebrow in the wrong place, creating a 1/2 circle.
The most extreme version is when the owner looks like they’re always raising their eyebrows, hence, the happy face. More subtle is where it’s not so high, but the line of the eyebrow is still a semi circle.
Fix: Straighten the eyebrow line from the beginning to the arch, so the line is more of a straight line. This takes away from the semi circle.

Here are some things to consider before booking an eyebrow appointment.
Have a thin ‘2 rows of hairs’ eyebrows? Don’t worry. I’ve been able to reshape and get even the thinnest eyebrows back on track. And there’s no need to go around with half done eyebrows waiting for them to grow in before you can get them looking perfect again. The key is to get the line of the eyebrow back on track which gives you a starting point as to where to grow in. Once you have that line, you can then keep an eye on them and keep those hairs growing in where you need them. Elke |
