Buy One, GIVE One
Your offers could be retail products or a combination of a service and retail. Two gifts for the price of one are the way to go. Keep One, Give One, – can be for themselves, keep one, give one, or give away both. Even better, put together a pre-set gift certificate + product gift and show at your reception desk.
Celebrate Cyber Monday
Cyber Monday is peak day for online shopping. Ramp up sales with specials in salon, as well as online. Promote via email marketing and on social media ahead of time.
Create a holiday contest for your clients, which is beauty related. For example, have a contest to post their holiday eyebrow or makeup/hair look. To enter the contest, the client provides an email and name. Include a hashtag of your promo so you can easily find the entries unless you have a dedicated landing page. Get the party started by sharing your favorite look on the contest page. Prizes can be gift certificates, free beauty consultation, retail products or service, or a combination.
Create a Holiday Beauty Lounge
Offer complimentary or discounted priced express services such as brow tints, brow trims or lash tints . Create a beauty lounge in a specific location in your salon for specific hours during the holiday where various services are offered for a fee or complimentary. Up the relaxing factor by offering cider, hot chocolate and christmas goodies.
Your front desk
Place a basket of inexpensive beauty samples and testers on your reception desk to tempt last-minute purchases. Drop a hint with “ideal stocking fillers”.
Up the Gift Certificate
- Buy 1, get the 2nd product/service free.
- Buy 1 Certificate now, use the 2nd one (at 1/2 value) after Valentine’s Day.
- Get a free product with every Package bought on a gift certificate. Set the value, or make it a personally chosen by your technician/specialist.
