If you’re looking to get your brows holiday trendy, check out these latest brow looks and how to get them.

NOW is all about the natural brow, the simpler the better. The natural brow is a no makeup feel and a natural, slightly overgrown brow. How to do? To avoid the heavy makeup look of brow power and pencil, you can use a colored brow mascara that creates a fuller, thicker looking brow, without it looking made up. The key is to go 1 color lighter than your natural brow color so it will pick up lighter hairs and create a fuller look. Don’t think darker, think thicker. 

To get there, try growing your brows in for a few weeks longer than usual, and then book a Return Client Clean Brow for a light clean up and trim. New growth is kept while still keeping the brow looking very natural.

The Fluffy Brow

The strongest trend has got to be the feathery brow and it’s still going strong. The easy way? The Brow Lamination Service. Similar to a perm, Brow Lamination redirects hairs so they go in a different direction. I like a brow that looks more natural, going more outwards and up, and the best part? All that new growth that has come in? I can use that to create a thicker brow and keep all those new hairs. Brow shaping and trimming if needed is done at the end, so all hairs that be used in the look stays! And don’t worry, you can see how the brow will look before the brows are set into place. The trick is that the brow product is to be strong. And I have a trick for you. You’ll need a clear Brow Gel, and a clear Brow Wax.  Apply the brow wax first to slightly damp hairs and brush through the brows going upwards and out. Then apply 1 light layer of a clear brow wax over. Instant feathery brows that will last for hours.

The Arched Brow

While an extreme arch is considered now outdated, there’s a new elegant eyebrow look on the horizon. The Arched Brow. This new look creates an arch in the brow, but the shape is new and modern with a straighter line. Gone is the severe rounded arch. Depending on the natural line and shape of the brow, this look works with a straighter brow for a more horizontal look, or higher arch which goes with a brow that is naturally more rounded and curved. The arch can be as subtle or as pronounced as you’d like. Think a straighter brow with a more elegant arch.

To mimic with makeup, use a thin pointed Brow Pencil (try our Retractable Pencil in Blonde, Brunette and Deep Brunette) and draw short, fast strokes in the direction of hair growth going in a more horizontal angle. Bring the brows more out at the ends in a straight line, and then create a straight line going along the bottom of the brow from the beginning of the brow to the arch. Then blend with a soft spoolie brush so soften the edges. Remember, a more natural feel is still the trend.
