Perfectly shaped thick brows have been the rage for years now. But what if you want more? More brows, more shape, just more everything? Here are some of my tips to get there.
Making your brows look thicker and fuller should be easy. Something that’s quick, throw on 1 step move in the morning that doesn’t take a lot of time. Here’s the perfect step-by-step guide for you, using my favorite elke® brow products.
Follow these steps for getting thick brows:
- Brush brows with a spoolie.
Run a spoolie through your brows and brush them in the direction the hairs are growing. Brows really don’t grow up except in the fronts of the brows. So to determine how your brow hairs fall, brush in the direction they grow. Why? If you groom your brows in this direction, they will actually stay in place, and give you a better format to create a thicker version of your own brow.
2. Set brows with a clear brow pomade.
Using your spoolie brush, apply a clear brow wax in the direction of your hair growth. Use quick short strokes as you go through your brows. The pomade will help keep your eyebrows in place, as well as making them instantly thicker.
3. Fill in the gaps with color.
Now color can be anything actually. Powder, pencil, colored brow wax. Choose the colored brow product that’s easiest for you to use. Personally I love my elke® Precision Pencil. A super thin fine brow pencil that mimics hair strokes in the brow and creates a perfectly filled yet natural look. Start in the fronts and blend outwards towards the end of your brow. Now with your clean spoolie brush, run it through the hairs to blend and soften. Viola. Thicker brows.
4. Add a touch of highlighter to your brow bone.
Using our Brow Highlighter (my favorite is the Cool Tone> a beautiful champagne shimmer) apply highlighter going along the bottom the brow all the way from front to end. Lightly soften and blend with a soft Smudger Brush.
5. Brush and blend.
A final brush through with your spoolie will help blend and soften any obvious lines.
